In 1998, with expanded operations outside of Hardin County a new name was chosen to reflect the broader scope of operations, Kentucky Concrete, Inc. 1998 also marked the year that the company went from rear-discharge trucks to front discharge trucks to better serve our ever expanding customer base. In June of 2003 the assets of Dotson Concrete, Inc. in Shelbyville, Kentucky were purchased, and Kentucky Concrete moved into another new market. In July of 2007, Kentucky Concrete of Indiana, LLC. was formed by Sharon H. Schlatter and Fred Schlatter. They purchased the assets of Ohio Valley Ready Mix, Inc. moving Kentucky Concrete into the Southern Indiana and Louisville markets.

Today, Kentucky Concrete, Inc. has 8 state and nationally certified plants and 65 front discharge trucks serving the following counties in Kentucky- Hardin, LaRue, Nelson, Jefferson, Shelby, Spencer, Oldham, Meade, Hart, Grayson, Bullitt, Henry, Anderson, Franklin, and Washington Counties. The Jeffersonville, Indiana plant serves the following counties in Indiana- Clark, Floyd, Harrison, and Scott.
